Beginner Level
At this stage, gymnasts improve direction-following, motor control, and introductory apparatus confidence while building strength and coordination.
Target skills: Vault: step down to board and immediate straight jump. Bars: bent-knee swing, casts in series. Beam: walk forward, point step transfer, straight jump. Floor: L handstand, tuck forward roll, arch position.
Level 1
Consolidates foundational movement quality and technical basics before transition to more structured event work.
Target skills: Vault: step down to board and immediate straight jump. Bars: bent-knee swing, casts in series. Beam: walk forward and controlled weight transfer. Floor: L handstand and tuck forward roll.
Level 2
For gymnasts with improved focus and endurance. Class length increases to one hour and introduces event-rotation structure.
Target skills: Vault: 2-step/lunge to handstand on board and land on back. Bars: pullover prep, casts to toe height, controlled tuck hang. Beam: straddle sit to squat stand, passe steps, half turn. Floor: handstand step-down lunge, entry cartwheel, backward roll.
Level 3+
Designed for athletes (typically 7+) who have mastered fundamentals and want a serious gymnastics development pathway.
Target skills: Vault: run handstand to flat-back landing. Bars: front support, casts to toe height, back hip circle. Beam: forward/back kicks, straight jump series, L handstand. Floor: cartwheel progressions, split jump, bridge kickover, handstand forward roll.
